Dr Lai performs general orthopedic procedures for both upper and lower extremity conditions. Some of these procedures include, but are not limited to, the following:

Tendon releases, carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve releases
Adult primary and complex joint (hip and knee) reconstructions
Ankle arthroscopy, ligamentous reconstruction

About the Doctor
Dr Lai is an experienced orthopedic surgeon who practices general orthopedics.
Dr Lai completed his orthopedic residency training at the Royal University Hospital of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He further completed two fellowships in adult foot and ankle reconstruction, as well as total joint replacement from University of Toronto. Dr. Lai is certified by both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as well as the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr Lai currently practices as a community surgeon and is also involved in training of health care professionals.
Dr. Lai has over 10 years of experience in diagnosing, and treating common conditions of the musculoskeletal system including common upper extremity, lower extremity, and spine pathologies.
